We saw this break from the inside.
RoboCred started inside one of China's top robotics companies.
Pranav and Shreyas.

We're two SUTD engineers who got into hardware through robotics — built robots through school, met inside one of China's top robotics companies, and saw firsthand that compliance was the bottleneck nobody was solving with AI.
RoboCred is the company we wished existed when we were shipping hardware.
Both of us got into hardware through robotics. In late 2024, we did an intrapreneurship at Deep Robotics in Hangzhou — one of China's top robotics companies. They selected our idea for dynamic insurance pricing for deployed robots and brought us in to build it from the inside.
While we were embedded there, we kept hearing the same thing from their product manager. The problem wasn't insurance. It was that every time Deep Robotics tried to deploy into a new country, regulatory compliance ate months of timeline and broke launch plans. Humanoid robot compliance alone routinely ran over SGD 180,000. All of it manual.
That conversation reframed everything. Insurance was a downstream symptom. The actual upstream wound for hardware companies was compliance — and nobody was using AI to fix it.
Since then, we've spent the better part of a year going deep. We've fully mapped IEC 60204-1 and ISO 12100, are actively mapping ISO 26262, IS 302, ISO 13849, and others, and we read the standards rather than just talking to consultants about them. We had 30+ customer conversations with hardware teams across robotics, industrial automation, and consumer hardware. We pivoted twice — through robotics insurance, through a hardware compliance data product — and arrived at the company we are today: AI-native compliance services for hardware.
Engineering Product Development at SUTD. Hardware-leaning robotics with depth across ROS, perception, and manipulation. Previously co-founded CellToMix (microfluidic biotech, raising SGD 2M seed). RoboSub semi-finalist at Irvine. Alibaba/Deep Robotics scholar.
SUTD Engineering Product Development. Built the design-graph pipeline that turns CAD, KiCad, and BOM files into RoboCred's compliance graph. Embedded at Deep Robotics in Hangzhou as part of the intrapreneurship that became RoboCred. Asia regional champion at VEX Robotics and represented Singapore at the World Championship. Zhejiang University scholar.
